30 Years of Ringside Insight

From Junior Boxer to Army Veteran

Founded by Chris Firth, the Pro-Am story began at age 10 in a local amateur club. Chris's journey took him from competing as a schoolboy to boxing for the Army worldwide, including time stationed in Germany.

While recovering from injury, Chris began his transition to coaching in 1992, mentoring the dependants' team in Germany and preparing for a legacy in the corner.

Born in 1995

In 1995, Pro-Am was born out of a stark necessity. At the time, UK fighters had to travel to London just to find quality equipment.

After serving as a distributor for industry giants like Everlast and Grant, Chris Firth decided to leverage his ringside experience to design unique, professional-grade goods that met the actual needs of fighters.
